Oppo R9 and R9 Plus now Official!

Oppo has finally announced their latest mid-range smartphones – the Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus. It sports a very familiar design similar to the iPhone 6 / 6S but with a much beefed up specs and whooping 16 megapixel camera.

The Oppo R9 and R9 Plus were announced today in China with both Android smartphones featuring full HD edge-to-edge displays, 4 GB of RAM, fingerprint activated home buttons, and larger battery capacity with fast charging feature. It’s powered by the latest version of ColorOS 3.0 (running Android 5.1 Lollipop) which claims to be 25% faster than the previous version with improved software efficiency and battery performance.

Another cool feature of the Oppo R9 is its super thin bezel size of only 1.66 mm thick. Both front and rear cameras don’t disappoint as well thanks to a selfie perfect 13 MP and 16 MP Sony sensors. Below are the complete specs rundown of both smartphones.
