Starmobile Knight Specs & Price, Now Available Nationwide

The much anticipated flagship quad-core Android smartphone from Starmobile, the Starmobile Knight, is finally hitting the stores nationwide starting this Friday, July 12, with an official SRP of Php 11,290.

The Starmobile Knight has been peeking a lot of interests since it’s announcement last month being the thinnest and lightest dual SIM quad-core Android smartphone with HSPA+ & 3G connectivity. Also, it’s cheap price point has also been stealing the limelight considering its impressive hardware specs which are definitely comparable to other latest high-end & international smartphone brands like Samsung, HTC, LG, and Apple.

Check out my full Starmobile Knight review and hands on here.

Powering up this monster device is a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, PowerVR SGX544MP GPU for the graphics, a 1 GB of RAM, and a full HD 4.7 inches IPS screen with Corning Gorilla Glass scratch-free protection. Also being a major strong point of the Knight, its high-resolution front and back camera sensors will not let you down thanks to its 18 megapixels rear facing camera (with dual LED flash & BSI) that support 1080p full HD video recording and its 8 megapixels autofocus front camera that’s perfect for #selfie shots on Instagram.

My Thoughts

For me, the Starmobile Knight is definitely a must have smartphone. It’s a perfect alternative for all those people who are aiming to own a high performing smartphone but on a much tighter budget. Looking at the specs, this device can do more than your average smartphone tasks like calling and texting. Heavy graphic mobile games won’t be much of a problem too because of its quad-core processor and 1 gigs of memory. Although it’s main screen is scratch resistant because of the Corning Gorilla glass protection, the only thing that I don’t like is it’s plastic back case makes it look cheaper and less sturdy. Nonetheless, Starmobile gives you a free InstaCase upon purchasing the device so back protection won’t be of any problem.
