The next generation Macbook Pro 2012 is now available. Check out the Macbook Pro 2012 official Philippine prices here.

Much expected to be unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2012 event last night, a new set of Macbook Pro laptops were formally introduced to the public sporting a number of significant software and hardware boosts including a faster CPU, graphics processor, and the much talked about 2880×1800 pixels super HD – Restina display (found in iPhone 4s and iPad 3) that definitely will make you wow.

So what’s new with the 2012 Macbook Pro series? Well, the most obvious ones can be seen on their new 15.4 inch Macbook Pro model which is now only 0.71 inches thin and weighs only 4.5 lbs, making it the lightest Macbook Pro laptop ever produced. To achieve this thinness, Apple decided to remove the optical drive slot on this high end model.

The latest generation quad-core Ivy Bridge Intel processor (CPU) is powering this model together with a NVIDIA GeForce graphics for a superb gaming and entertainment experience. And did I mention the beyond HD, 2880×1800 pixels (220 ppi), Restina display? This screen resolution is even bigger than your average HDTV at home. Awesome!

As for the rest of the Macbook Pro 2012 models, here are the previous Macbook Pro specs (updated October 2011) to give you a better look of what has changed.
